At Cinebla, we take the privacy and security of your data seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app, available on Android, iOS, and web.

We collect the following types of information:
- Registration data: when you sign in with your Google account, we obtain your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Profile information: biography, username, and nickname that you set in the app.
- Generated content: text comments, audio recordings of up to 10 seconds, uploaded videos of up to 50MB, images, and GIFs.
- Usage data: information about how you interact with the app, commented movies, and preferences.
- Device information: model, operating system, unique identifiers, and connection data.

2. App permissions
Cinebla may request the following permissions on your device:
- Microphone: required to record audio comments. It is only activated when you start a recording.
- Storage or gallery: to select and upload videos and images from your device.
- Push notifications: to inform you about replies, likes, and app news.
You can revoke these permissions at any time from your device settings, although some features may become limited.

3. How we use your information
We use this information to:
- Identify and authenticate you in the app.
- Allow you to publish and share synchronized text, audio, and video comments about movies.
- Store and play your multimedia content for other users.
- Personalize your experience and recommendations.
- Send you notifications about relevant activity.
- Improve the app and develop new features.

4. Multimedia content storage
- The audio and video files you upload are securely stored on Firebase servers running on Google Cloud.
- This content remains stored while your account is active or until you decide to delete it.
- When you delete a comment with multimedia content, the related files are also removed from our servers.

5. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following cases:
- Service providers: we use Firebase, owned by Google, for authentication and storage, TMDB for movie information, and JustWatch for streaming availability data.
- Content according to your privacy settings: your comments, audio, and videos are visible to other users depending on the privacy setting you choose, such as public, followers only, mutual followers, or only you. You can change this setting at any time from your profile settings.
- Legal obligations: when required by law or by competent authorities.

6. Administrative access and moderation
- Content moderation: regardless of your privacy settings, the Cinebla admin team has access to all comments to ensure compliance with our rules of use, moderate inappropriate content, and respond to legal requirements.
- Multimedia content: all audio, video, and image material uploaded to the platform is reviewed and moderated by the admin team to ensure it complies with our usage policies.
- It is not private messaging: comment privacy options, such as only me or mutual followers, only control visibility in front of other users. This system does not constitute a private or encrypted messaging service.
- No private chats: Cinebla does not offer private chat functionality between users. All communication within the platform is subject to moderation.

7. Data security
We adopt technical and organizational security measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted connections through HTTPS and TLS.
- Secure storage on Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Secure authentication through Google Sign-In.
- Restricted access to personal data for authorized staff only.

As a user, you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your account and all your data.

9. Data retention
We keep your data while your account remains active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data and multimedia content within a maximum of 30 days.

- Information about movies and streaming platforms comes from third parties such as TMDB and JustWatch and may not always be up to date.

- Movie data is provided by The Movie Database, TMDB.
- Streaming availability information is provided by JustWatch.
- GIFs come from Klipy and Giphy.
- Linked YouTube videos are the responsibility of their respective owners.
We do not control the content of these external services.

Cinebla® is a registered trademark. All original content of the app, including code, design, and logos, is protected by copyright. Movie posters and data belong to their respective owners.

6. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and by the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, of the European Union. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Spain.
